Those of you who, back in the day, would take a chickadee out on a date, what would it cost to go to someplace like the white fox?

Would have taken a date to a place that fancy?

Where you live now, is there someplace fancy enough to take a special date? Where I live there isn't much that isn't a chain.

The fancy, family-owned establishments are gone. No place to take your prom date.

Here in Eastern Mass today & back then there are SO MANY restaurants that are not chain ...

Back in the day I would have been embarrassed to go to a chain restaurant with a date, so ya I went to many nice places back then ...

I met a girl a few years ago and asked here what she wanted in a relationship ? She said she wanted to be told she was pretty and had nice clothes, wanted gifts including jewelry, and never wanted to drive or pay for anything ever again ! She just found a new boyfriend and he's ok with that !!

The problem I always had, I'd take a gal to the best restaurant I could think of, way over-kill for the situation, and more often than not get called out for trying to "buy favor" with them.

So, ultimately I decided that if I was gonna strike out anyway, I might as well save a few bucks, and take them someplace that didn't make their heads swim.
