Would Pearl have been considered overweight? I'm just asking because I could have sworn when Granny and Pearl used to fight in the early episodes that Granny made cracks about Pearl's weight... HOWEVER watching the show now, I cannot find an instance where Granny insults Pearl's weight. The closest I can find is when they think Mr Drysdale is messing around with Pearl and they say something about her being a young, pretty slender woman and Granny says, "Thant CAN'T be Pearl!"

I may be confusing her with Mrs. Drysdale.. I know Granny made cracks about her weight a few times

In a word no!

Bea was a nice package all the way around...it almost made no sense for Mister Brewster to act like a tool and spurn Pearl like he did.

Now Mrs. Drysdale on the other hand...

If jed clampett was pearl's first cousin wouldn't that make jethro's mother pearl and eli may second cousins and jethro and eli may third cousins.

The initial relationship defines the subsequent relationships. Assuming Pearl is Jed's first cousin then his daughter is Pearl's first cousin once removed. Jethro and Ellie are second cousins.

Good point, but maybe he thought her genes were suspect after getting an eyeful of Jethrine.

Bea Benaderet was penciled in for the Granny role, but Paul Henning had reservations because, as Henning put it, "Bea was stacked."
