View Full Version : Happy Days movie?
¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 07-23-2002, 07:36 PM What do you all think of a Happy Days movie??
Like a big-screen movie or TV movie etc..
Personally, I think it would be great--but all depends.
Some TV show into movies have been nothing but GREAT-take the Brady Bunch for example..ALL of the movies have been great!!
Then, you look @ Leave it to Beaver, My Fav. Martian, Dennis the Menace....they never really matched up to the show!! They, well, sucked! lol Sorry if anyone liked them!
If they make a Happy Days, they need to make it like the Brady's, better yet, get Sherwood Schwartz to work on it! He made an awesome movie. I think what was so great about it was that it had so many episode plots linked into it. It was hilarious! Oh, I also heard a Bewitched movie is in the making?? Id love to see it, but it would have to be like the show!!!

Ahh! You hit a very sore point to me mentioning those movies above. Leave it to Beaver the Movie, had to have been one of the worst movies EVER! I love the show, but that movie....it was horrible.
I didn't even see My Fav. Martian. I love the show, and just couldn't imagine anybody fitting into Martin and Tim's role as much as Ray Walston and Bill Bixby did.
I have my doubts about a HD movie. I say if its a reunion movie, then I'd love to see it, but if its a big Hollywood movie I have my thoughts that they will totally rip it to pieces.
Cactus Jack 07-23-2002, 11:29 PM I also had an idea for making an HD movie
HappyDays Dude55 07-25-2002, 01:28 PM A Happy Days reunion movie would be awesome, only thing is I seriously doubt they'd be able to get Ron Howard to appear in it, considering he's one of the biggest directors in Hollywood these days.
Still, I see no reason why Henry Winkler, Anson Williams, Don Most, Erin Moran, Scott Baio, Marion Ross, and Tom Bosley wouldn't be up for it. Maybe Howard would agree to a cameo ...
¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 07-25-2002, 01:46 PM Oh, I have NO doubt in my mind that he wouldnt say no. Unless he was busy with a movie, theres no reason to say no. His ego isnt huge-he's probably one of the very few on the whole Hollywood scene that isnt a demanding snob. He seems like a regular guy because his family raised him that way. He might not be the whole star of the movie, but Im sure he would def. be a part of it--hey maybe they would let him direct it, because he said so himself that hes not an actor, hes a director. But theyre like a family to him, plus it would dissapoint EVERYONE!! He's done appearances in TV specials over the years and a couple of guest spots like on the Simpsons--nothing big, but if the movie were Happy Days why would he turn that down but do the Simpsons?? Ya know?? But, like I said, unless he was busy with a movie--but Im sure producers would wait for him, the movie wouldnt be the same w/o him!
