They were two of the main comedy anchors of NBC's Tuesday night comedy block in the 90s. Frasier and Roz could be invited to a broadcasters' convention in New York sponsored by Jamie and Fran's PR firm. Frasier would take along his entire household, reluctantly bringing Eddie as well when the Buchmans invite him to stay with Murray. Frasier really likes the snooty British neighbors Hal and Maggie. But they hate him after Eddie follows in Murray's footsteps getting their prized show dog pregnant. Steven Wright's laid back character wants Roz but loses out to Ira for her. In a later season Jamie has a big fight with her mayor boss after he finds out she blackmailed him. The mayor of Seattle offers Jamie a job as his chief of staff and Paul is offered a documentary on KACL. New York vs. Seattle wars commence as to which city is better. Paul and Jamie almost move to Seattle but stay in New York, disgusted with the constant rain in Seattle.
