I was paying homage to Dwayne Hickman by watching four Dobie Gillis episodes and the first one I saw had Maynard act shocked every time somebody said "Work." To me, it was very funny and it showed why Maynard didn't care about finding a job. Your thoughts on Maynard's work reaction.

I've used that same intonation and outburst at every place I've worked (WORk?!!!) when anyone uses the word "work" (WORK?!!!).

In 30+ years, only one person got the reference and told me I was starting to look like Maynard.
