Too bad this is just a one day marathon. Sony is pathetic just letting classics like this and Trebekardy! rot in their vaults except for tribute marathons (Jeopardy! got one when Alex Trebek died, now this Pyramid marathon is on what would have been Betty White's 100th birthday.) The $25,000 Pyramid marathon a week from today is from 9AM-1PM.

To me why I think GSN is having a marathon of $25,000 Pyramid is not only to honor Betty White but to try to bring it back to the lineup. I mean it's nice of GSN to honor Betty White but I think GSN is hinting on having a block of retro game show favorites for the future but just like they showed Monty Hall's LMAD when Monty died in 2017 GSN only showed it once and has NEVER brought it back since then. And the same with Jeopardy when Alex Trebek passed away and why I think GSN never even thought to bring back reruns of Alex Trebek's Jeopardy is because GSN thinks that those reruns are too dated for their channel. And I hope that when GSN has a 1 Vs 100 marathon to honor Bob Saget I hope they air his version and not the Carrie Ann Inaba hosted 1 Vs 100. I can honestly say that when a celebrity or game show host dies GSN is the worst at this and they should take lessons from Buzzr who actually does it right
