For example, there's the time that Rose (https://www.today.com/popculture/tv/betty-white-golden-girls-episodes-rcna10209) tells her roommates about the herring circus (https://www.mashed.com/723142/betty-whites-herring-joke-has-fans-laughing-through-their-tears/) in St. Olaf (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0f9rBKSOLc). Betty's (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_o83aMEBFQs) delivery is so great that Bea and Rue break character (https://www.thelist.com/722123/the-time-betty-white-got-her-golden-girls-co-stars-to-break-character/) with their uncontrollable laughter.

My favorite all-time episode of The Golden Girls is when Rose wins the "St. Olaf's Woman of the Year" award and the Girls make the long trek to St. Olaf via rickety plane, train and finally by mule-driven cart!:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Henny Penny!!!!!!!! That’s my favorite of all 4 of the girls together. Rose had so many great scenes but that one has to be my favorite!

I couldn't stand the "Rose" character. She was just way too dumb. She was very nice but had a brain made of oatmeal. I liked when Sophia told Rose that she thinks there's a similarity between Rose's brain and wallpaper paste. I liked Betty much better as "Ellen Jackson" in Mama's Family.... total opposite of "Rose."

Rose, defensive over forgetting to tell people Sophia was not really dead:

"Well I made the friggin' decorations, and I made the friggin'
hors d'oeuvres!!!

That's one of my favorite episodes too.

I also love her line "This is mud on our face, we're not really black"
