For Christmas I got my very first Sandi Patty album which is the Everlasting album. In Christian music next to Amy Grant Sandi Patty was the second most popular artist and from the time she released her first giant hit Another Time Another Place Sandi Patty has been a staple in Christian music since. Some of her other hits include Find It On The Wings from her 1994 album of the same name and Breathe On Me and has even crossed into show standards with the duet album Together which she sung with my other favorite singer Kathy Troccoli. More recently Sandi has released Sweet Dreams which is a lullaby album. It's a shame Sandi Patty retired from touring because she was so wonderful to see in concert

Sandi Patty was the voice, other than Amy Grant, in the 80's in Christian music. While Amy had the look, Sandi had the vocals. I wondered why I hadn't heard from her for a while. It's sad that she has retired from touring, but considering that she had such a long and successful career, it's understandable.

During the time of the Gulf War She recorded The Star Spangled Banner. It was awesome!

I got to listen to my Sandi Patty album today and while I ended up not getting the Everlasting album in my jewel case I ended up with her These Days album from 2000 and I ended up liking it a lot and I was surprised at her voice and style and I found out that she had a song called All This Time that she dedicated to her daughter Anna and it's a wonderful song. I will probably be getting more MP3's of Sandi Patty because she is so wonderful and uplifting to listen to and her voice could easily fit a Disney Princess because it's so enchanting
