Jane Levy is our second consecutive headliner to be celebrating her 32nd birthday. Levy grew up in Northern California, and studied at the Stella Adler Studio (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stella_Adler_Studio_of_Acting) in New York.
Just under two years ago, Levy began starring as Zoey Clarke on NBC’s Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. She was a Golden Globe nominee for Best Actress in a Comedy Series, for her portrayal of a software engineer with a gift that is, plainly, extraordinary.

Levy made her acting debut in a recurring role on season 1 of Shameless, but left that series when she was cast as a regular on ABC’s Suburgatory. Subsequently, she has had a number of regular TV roles, including on the first season of Hulu’s anthology series, Castle Rock. She starred on the 2019 Netflix miniseries What/If.
Levy made her feature film debut in the indie drama Nobody Walks, in 2012. For some, she has a “scream queen” reputation after starring in horror films such as Evil Dead, Don’t Breathe, and Office Uprising. She has also starred in the sci-fi musical Bang Bang Baby, and the action comedy Monster Trucks.
Earlier this year, NBC canceled Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist after two seasons. However, The Roku Channel stepped in to produce a 2-hour holiday film, Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas. There is talk that Roku might be interested in continuing the series.
