I never got to see the revival, but I read about the fact that she was not going to be in it. I do not know why her character was terminated. I happened to like Fran a lot.

According to this she’s retired from the acting business. So I guess no interest in the reboot.

Her IMDB page backs this up. She’s not listed in anything after 2003.
