So, 10 years ago, I realized I left my scrunchie in my hotel room when I was going to Universal Studios for a day. I knew I would be going on rides and I heard a Horror Story of a Girl who died when her loose hair got caught in a ride. I didn't want that happening to me, so I went to a gift shop and bought a elastic hair band with a butterfly looking thing on it for about $10! :(I could have gotten something REALLY similar at a dollar store for about a $1. I bought it because I needed it, not because I wanted it. I needed something to hold my hair back on these rides, and this Butterfly elastic hair band was the answer.

Pretty much whenever I buy an umbrella. Like you said, ya can get it at the .99 cent store if you time it right.
Also, when you fly, just simply double wrap your weed and carry it on your person. They never check unless it's stinky greens and you save a lot of money buying from your regular guy instead of some flim-flam man you don't know. Just sayin'

Used to always amaze me how a 2 litre bottle of pop could be 85 cents at the big box store, but $2.29 at Habib's kwikiemart...now the Big Boxes are giving Habib a run for the money
Pretty much everything that's not on sale at Walgreen's. I guess they figure if you're shopping for button cell batteries in their store, you must be desperate?

Soda fountain fill-ups. Including the lid, cup, and straw, this costs them 22 cents (http://westernnewyork.localfoodservice.com/apps/blog/view_more_detail.cfm?id=39263&catid=8111&ctoken=101).

Speaking of which, I find it amazing how I can buy a calculator, a pen light, or a laser pointer for a buck at dollar tree, but buttoncell replacement batteries are gonna cost $4.50 a pair and I'm gonna need 3 of them to refresh the device.
