Is it just me, or is Tony Dow the cutest kid actor who EVER LIVED? If I had been a little girl in the 50's, I would have been so in love with him that I would have been talking about him all the time in school and religiosly watching LITB every week. And not only that, he aged better than any kid actor I've seen too, because he grew up to be just as good looking as he was as a kid.

Agreed- Tony did age quite well. I do believe that he is one of the rare child actors that still is quite recognizable. Jerry would classify in this topic too, because just looking at his face you can't tell immediately who it is.

I do agree with you. Tony was a good looking guy.

Yes, the one where Wally shaves is nice because he takes his shirt off! I know there's a later episode where Wally is the hotdog vender at the beach and he has his shirt off, but he's older so his muscles are more fully developed. RAWR!!:D

Wally didn't have his shirt off in the ep where he was a hot dog vendor at the lake. He was wearing some white chef-like outfit which looked much too warm to be beach wear.

I do think Wally was hot! I didn't mean he wasn't hot, I said he was in an earlier post! I just thought it was funny how you some of you guys were describing him, thats all. Another nice thing about him is his natural dark pigment to his skin. Well, maybe it's not natural, but I'm guessing it is! It always looked weird with him by the Beaver because Beaver's skin is more white and pale! But Wally/Tony has nice tan skin! MMMM!! :)

I think his skin was naturally dark. Unless they had places to go and get a fake bake. I wasn't around to find out. But anyway, Wally Cleaver, YEEOOWWW!

I guess i'm the only one here that would rather look at the female charaters since i'm a guy, thus not going crazy over wally like everyone else.

The reason Tony had a nice build and a good tan is he was a champion diver starting at a young age. He did have a bit of a darker complextion anyway.

I once saw a picture of him as a swimmer; but haven't been able to find it again.

I once met Tony and Jerry at a dinner theatre and shook their hands. It was an incredible thrill!

Oh man, you guys are gonna kill me! I've mentioned this in other threads, but I was at a benefit for the late actor, Richard Biggs in 2005, and Tony Dow was THERE!! I still don't know why he was there or how he knew Richard Biggs. I don't remember him being in any other TV series other than those related to "Beaver".
I really wanted to say something to him, but I wasn't about to go up to him and say "I loved Leave it to Beaver." I say stupid things all the time when it comes to meeting celebrities and that would have been the worst! Now I wish I had said something but even now, nothing comes to mind!

He was wearing a blue shirt, and from what I remember, he looked pretty good! ;)
