Those are some really cool clothes on that sight. But what I actually thought this message was about was Lucy's clothes on I LOVE LUCY. She was so glamorous. Even today and even if those clothes are out of style now, they still look beautiful. I especially like her look during the third season when she was wearing those big hoop earrings. Lucy at that time was style personified. Sadly you don't see much of that today. Slutty fashions or too casual fashions seem to be in and glamour is out. What a shame! Sometimes I wish glamour would return, but people these days are more concerned about feeling comfortable than looking ravishing. So I don't think that's going to happen any time soon.

I totally agree. I especially love when she gets all dressed up, like in "Hollywood Anniversary" and "The Star Upstairs". She was just beautiful in those gowns! I like seeing her in dresses better than the more casual pants and a shirt, but everything she wore was tasteful and elegant. The only thing that I really didn't like was the outfits that look like dresses and they open up in the front, but she is wearing pants under it. She wore an outfit such as this in the episode "LA at Last". I don't like that at all -- but I guess that may have been the style back then?? But overall, she always looked great.

Are you talking about the sort of outfit she wore at the beginning of Lucy Gets Ricky on the Radio, when the gang is gathered around first the TV, then the radio, and eating popcorn? If so, I totally agree. I don't think that outfit is flattering at all. It looks weird. I don't remember her wearing anything like that in L.A. at Last, though. I do agree about the gowns she wore. I think the reason they looked so good on her was because of her build. She had those long legs, so gowns just sort of flowed. She also had a very elegant walk which I guess she learned from being a model. She had that walk right up until the very end. She knew how to wear those clothes and how to move in them.

Two of my fave episodes are when Lucy and Ethel go to Charm School and the get-ups supposedly were the charmingest and most glamourous---but unfortunately Lucy and Ethel looked way over the top in them. The other time Lucy aimed for sexy drop dead look was when they lived at the house they bought and Lucy wanted to show up the young woman at the country club dance that had all the men waiting on her and dancing. Lucy's dress was so tight she could not sit down!!!
