In another thread, Opus had a funny idea: My Little Pony-based Facts of Life characters.

I'm not exactly a Brony, but I have taught animation classes. I mocked up some characters. Let's see if you can tell who is who!

I only discovered the limitation after adding the Nancy pony to the upload queue. It seemed like a lot of work to add Nancy to the project, and then cruelly remove her from the project, once I realized there were "too many ponies". :lol:

I take it that the middle pony at the top is Blair and the middle second pony is Sue Ann.

They show up differently in my browser, likely due to different screen widths.

The first pony is Jo: she's got a blue-jeans-inspired coloring scheme, a brown pony (lol!) tail, and a punk-rock inspired tail. Her symbol is a rose, symbolizing the strong connection to her mother, Rose.

The second pony is Blair. She's got expensive (horse)shoes, the fluffiest mane of hair, and diamonds are the symbol on her flank... naturally!

The third pony is Natalie, with her green color being a tribute to her last name, Green. She's got a lightning-bolt symbol, in reference to her hat in "Take My Finals, Please". I gave her a wry smile, since she is always telling jokes.

Pony four is Tootie, with a roller skate symbol and a short, dark mane of hair.

The next pony is Sue Ann, with her trademark bows as the symbol on her flank. I also gave her fluffy hair, but not as fluffy as Blair's, and she gets no golden shoes, being from Kansas City, Kansas.

Next up is Molly, with a reddish mane and music symbol on her flank.

Then comes Nancy with her long, dark mane and telephone symbol on her flank.

Finally, cast last (just moments before the show was set to begin), is Cindy, with a ballcap, trademark braids, messy tail, and ice cream and hearts on her flank, for when she tells you she loves you over a Moby Dick sundae!

Could you create a My Little Pony for Mrs. G. and Miss Mahoney. And perhaps Mr. Bradley if there is a boy pony?

I gave Mrs. G greenish-blue fur, as I remember she often dressed in that color, and it was a good look for her. I gave her some pearls, and her tail was inspired by her hair in the Paris movie. Her symbol is a shining heart, which felt very appropriate.

Mr. Bradley's fur is made of brown tweed. He's got a tie and sports a question mark on his flank, indicating his cluelessness when it comes to how to raise young girls.

Miss Mahoney's hair is permed up into her "afro" style. The clipboard on her flank symbolizes her love for order and organization.

Howard's chef's hat and mixing spoon symbol are self-explanatory.
