Anyone else looking forward to seeing "Fear Strikes Back" today? I've been waiting to see it since I first knew about it and it's finally going to air.

TALLguyinKY 07-22-2002, 05:19 PM Yeah, I'm watchin' it right now!! :D I remembered Natalie's scene in the lounge, and Mrs. Garrett yellin' "FIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRREEEE!" in the self-defense part (though it hasn't gotten that far yet). I LOVE seein' episodes you haven't seen since you were a kid! :) Czas na Zywiec 07-22-2002, 06:15 PM Originally posted by LucyFan Not really. I heard that it is a lame episode. I don't know if that's true but we'll see . . . No. It was a very good episode! I mean how would you feel if you were attackted like that? It was dumb for N@N not to show it because there was nothing wrong with the episode. It shows that there are people out there and you have to be careful And another question, is anyone sure that N@n didn't play it? Because I for some reason really remember the schene where Natalie walks into the cafeteria dressed as Charlie Chaplin. I'm for sure she did, but if it was controversial and didn't show it then I think I must be going psycho. *Marilyn Monroe* 07-22-2002, 06:19 PM OK, I'm sure that I could look this up, but I'm lazy. :) What's the story line for that episode? *Melissa* 07-22-2002, 06:25 PM Originally posted by Ricky Ricardo And another question, is anyone sure that N@n didn't play it? Nick at Nite used several clips from this episode in some of their advertisements for FOL when they were still airing it. *Melissa* 07-22-2002, 06:28 PM Originally posted by NancyMcKeon1987 OK, I'm sure that I could look this up, but I'm lazy. :) What's the story line for that episode? The storyline is that everyone goes to a costume party, and when Natalie decides to leave, she walks back home by herself and is assulted. Impressions 07-22-2002, 06:33 PM Yes. It was a very good episode! Blair and Jo were very funny in that episode episode. I felt bad for Natalie though, I like the real-life topics though, there are real valueble for our society! I don't see why it has to be a 'contriversal episode' though. They had great costumes in that episode though, but Blair and Jo were just screaming for a laugh. I really enjoyed that episode! ; ) Mr. Stefani 07-22-2002, 06:51 PM Ah...My tape stopped:mad:. But I got to see Fear Strikes Back..It was good, but made me realize that "Natalie" isn't a very good dramatic actress. It was driving me nuts that only I saw a controversial epsidoe while no one else did. LOL TALLguyinKY 07-22-2002, 07:13 PM Originally posted by timmy087 It was good, but made me realize that "Natalie" isn't a very good dramatic actress. Her scene in the lounge after the attack gave me chills...I really liked it. Czas na Zywiec 07-22-2002, 07:15 PM Originally posted by timmy087 Ah...My tape stopped:mad:. JoPol_wannabe 07-22-2002, 07:17 PM I missed it and I didn't even tape it. (Stupied) My mom and I were in town and it was about 3:30 and we were at my grandparents just ready to come home and I was like good then I have time when we get home to get the tape in and all that jazz but just as we were leaving the phone rings and Megan my sister0in-law calls and says that her dog Bailey got ran over and she was beside herself so we went over there and we ended up staying there till 5:00 so I didn't get the ep taped so If anyone is willings to can you type out the ep for me I would really appreciate that since this was one of the eps I was really looking forward to. Mr. Stefani 07-22-2002, 07:37 PM Nah, I think she did really good. She did ok, but the one part after she got attacked, was just...bad. The rest was well done. JT 07-22-2002, 09:30 PM I wanted to reach over and hug Natalie when she was telling everyone what happened. TALLguyinKY 07-22-2002, 10:03 PM Originally posted by timmy087 She did ok, but the one part after she got attacked, was just...bad. The rest was well done. It wasn't bad. I thought that was her best part---gave me chills. TALLguyinKY 07-22-2002, 10:04 PM Originally posted by JT I wanted to reach over and hug Natalie when she was telling everyone what happened. I know, me too---she was so shaken and destroyed. Mindy really did that well... FOLrocks1 07-23-2002, 10:33 PM I loved this episode!! I don't see why these controversial episodes were considered that. I mean, I think they were made to teach us things that we could use, (self defence part) not to stir up controversy. jayman75 06-11-2003, 09:08 PM Does anyone have it on tape? I wish I could see it... Impressions 06-11-2003, 09:59 PM It's funny you should bring back this topic back up, because I was watching it earlier today from my tapes. This is one of my favorite controversial episodes. I thought when Mindy walked in with her clothes torn and she was crying, I really felt sorry for her eventhough she could've have made better choices when walking home. I especially like the scene in which the girls attend the personal defense class later in the episode.
