Thank you to the both of you about the happy birthday wish.

mikey058 - Just think, we've been watching television for 40 years now! ;) The first show I remember really loving was Fraggle Rock. I still have the dolls from 1983, but they're all gross-looking now, haha.

My brother was born in 1983, Fraggle Rock was more his show, I remember watching Mister Rogers and Sesame Street and also Bozo and Pee Wee Playhouse. My grandma got me into the old shows like I Love Lucy and other old classics. There used to be a channel called Nostalgia Channel which I think is Hallmark Channel that had the classics in the late 80s and the 90s.

Yes, I also loved watching Mister Rogers Neighborhood, Sesame Street and Pee-wee's Playhouse. As for the classics, I pretty much watched Nick at Nite a lot. Back when they showed My Three Sons, The Donna Reed Show, Make Room for Daddy, The Monkees, The Patty Duke Show. I stayed with Nick at Nite until, I'd say around the early '00s.

Plus, I played Nintendo a little later than others. I think we got ours in 1989 or '90. Shortly after we got it, Sega Genesis became the new craze, which we got around '92. I still play those old games. Never got into the newer stuff. Not putting them down, I just never cared to play them.

Yeah unfortunately, my cable provider didn't get Nick at Nite or Tv land until well after the good years I think We got Nick at Nite like 1996 and Tv land in 2002. So Donna Reed and My Three Sons and the others were long gone. I quit Nick at Nite when I Love Lucy left and they started doing shows in hour blocks, that was the beginning of the end of a once great channel.
