This one is a little different than my last Guns And Roses poll thread where I just put Welcome To The Jungle and Paradise City in a head to head battle for the best out of those too but Posters implied I should have included other song options. :)

So, here it is. Best Guns And Roses song? :)

Edit. I forgot to add Rocket Queen until it was too late
Luckily I chose to put an "Other," option. ;)

Hard to decide between Sweet child of mine and Paradise city ? :confused:Kinda like them both equally but maybe Sweet child of mine a little better, so I voted for that ! :)also like Knockin' on heavens door too alot ! ;)

Now I feel like listening to Guns N Roses! :)

What I like about Sweet Child Of Mine is Axl's clear enunciation of the words even when he is wailing. :) Not an easy feat to pull off. :) I also love that he clearly says,"Child," and not Chil," as many Rockers would have pronounced it.

But Guns And Roses just wanted to show love for Bob Dylan's Knocking On Heaven's Door... :p Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery thing...:p

This got me listening to some Guns N Roses , and watching some videos ! Brought back so many old memories of my first Husband and boys when they were little! Got tears in my eyes, my " Little boys" have birthdays coming up , going to be 34 this week, and 32 in two weeks, where does the time go ? ! :):heart:

Is it just me, or does Axl at least when he was younger sound like he is drunk/ sleep deprived/stoned/high a lot of the time when he is speaking in his normal low and deep voice? His singing voice is high pitched and loud like, "Rockeeettttt Queeeen! Oh yeah!" His speaking voice is like,"R....o...c...k...e...tQ...u..ee...nnnnn." Like he is slurring his words in a drunken stupor...

I picked Knockin' on Heaven's door. I do not like the lead singer's screechy voice on most of those other tracks.

Axl's screechy singing voice is his signature Trademark. :) But MANY of his songs ACTUALLY have him singing in a low voice. According to Google, he is also a Baritone/Tenor. I heard somewhere something like,"Half of Axl's songs on the album are him singing in a deep and low voice, the other half is him singing in a high pitched Falsetto.
