Head to Head comparison of Guns And Roses songs, Welcome To The Jungle or Paradise City. Which is better? On a Paradise City song video, a Guns And Roses Fan said that Welcome To The Jungle was Guns And Roses best song. I replied something like,"Paradise City is much better than Welcome To The Jungle to me. Welcome To The Jungle, Axl was dipping his toe in the ocean so to speak, but Paradise City, well, he was fully swimming in the ocean. I feel that Welcome To The Jungle is the definitive Guns And Roses song, but Paradise City is where Axl is completely at ease with himself and REALLY let's loose. The 6:53 version of Paradise City is beyond phenomenal and one of the best rock songs of all time. 😀

I'm not a fan of either song; there's something screechy in the lead singer's voice, which I find annoying. I do like Knockin' on Heaven's Door.

Also, Axl harmonizes with himself in Paradise City, which is NOT an easy feat to do. :) And he has double bridges in Paradise City song, a rare thing for a song to do

A fun fact. William and Axl have completely different voices. William, well, his voice is deep and low. William's "Brother," Axl's voice is loud and high pitched. :p

Thank you for answering the "Siren or Axl wailing?" Question! :D The music video for Welcome To The Jungle is NO help at all for that part as when that siren sounding part plays in the music video, Axl is just walking around at a bus stop looking dazed and confused.....:crazy: It would have helped if that part had Axl wailing into a mic or something like that.....:crazy:
