My aunt used to collect Anne Rice novels and she had almost every single Anne Rice novel except for The Vampire Chronicles series but my aunt also had Interview With The Vampire on video which had an intro by Anne Rice herself and when my mom and my cousin and aunt watched it we found it really scary and one scene actually freaked my cousin and me out and we gave up watching it and went to my cousin's room to play Nintendo while Mom and my aunt watched the rest of the movie. What a shock that Anne Rice is now gone because she really knew how to sell really scary novels that made everybody want to buy them. Now with only Stephen King and a handful of novelists still alive it will be hard another author of horror novels that may be great as Anne Rice
