For someone who has followed the show closely:
In the basic plot, once Drew decided that he wanted to get a transplant, how was Gina identified as a possible (and willing) donor?
I mean, I get that they were acquainted from years in the past, but that's a long way from "I'm willing to donate a vital body part" to someone she otherwise has scant affinity for.
She appears intent upon maintaining an arms-length friendship, which is fine, but the magnitude of her generosity "otherwise" seems inconsistent with that mindset.
