The O'Connell-hosted game show has been picked up after a successful test run last summer.

When it comes to board games and game shows based on game shows they usually bring in a huge audience while some adaptions fail. Pictionary is an example because while fun Pictionary is simply hard to make in a game show format. This is actually the third Pictionary game show revival because the original Pictionary debuted in the 80's with Brian Robbins as host and it was a failure because it was weak. Alan Thicke hosted Pictionary in the 90's and it did okay. But how will this Pictionary work? I also cannot figure out how Jerry O'Connell became the host and someone like Howie Mandel or David Spade could've been a better choice but I think if promoted right Pictionary might be a surprising hit
