Wallet hub recently performed a survey of US cities, ranking each against the other based upon nominal "sin" statistics.

Study is here: https://wallethub.com/edu/most-sinful-cities-in-america/29846

I have reservations about the surveys Wallet Hub frequently publishes, due to their use of criteria I feel to be subjective.

Who is to say that theft is a result of jealousy rather than greed? Just as an example.

I wonder how they determine who's exercising and who's not. Same with drinking.

Good question!! Likely something arbitrary and subjective.

Our local city likes using Wallet Hub findings as schwagg in support of their agendas.
For instance, they'll mention a Wallet Hub survey of municipal water supplies that claims our local service is in the top 10 nationwide, immediately before passing a water rate increase.

Or one finding we have "one of America's most affordable living indexes" immediately before passing a local tax increase.

And it always makes me want to say "wait a minute, how many people from Wallet Hub actually live here?
