Wings aired 8 seasons on NBC from 1990-1997. It comes from the same producers as Frasier and Cheers but has lived in their shadow. Personally I like Wings a lot better than Cheers, and I will take Wings any day over more popular 90s sitcoms I have no use for like Friends, Roseanne, and The Simpsons. Timothy Daly and Steven Weber play brothers Joe and Brian Hackett who are pilots but just have one plane to share at Sandpiper. Their rich competitor Roy Biggins who shares the same terminal in Nantucket has a lot more planes at Aeromass but acts boorishly. Crystal Bernard plays aspiring cellist Helen Chapel who is stuck running the lunch counter at the terminal. Helen marries Joe at the end of season 6. Also starring Rebecca Schull as Joe and Brian's eccentric receptionist Fay Cochran, Thomas Haden Church as the dunce mechanic Lowell Mather who works for both airlines, and future Emmy winner Tony Shalhoub as the Italian cabbie with eternal bad luck Antonio Scarpacci. In season 6 John Ritter's widow Amy Yasbeck joined the cast as Helen's sister Casey Davenport.

1st Round: defeated United States of Al 9-0

Too Close for Comfort aired three seasons on ABC. When they cancelled it moved to first-run syndication for three more seasons, total run from 1980-1986. AKA The Ted Knight Show at the end, Too Close was renewed for season 7. But when Ted Knight died during the summer of 1986, that renewal was naturally rescinded. He played cartoonist Henry Rush, who was married to Muriel (Nancy Dussault). They had two adult daughters, Jackie (Deborah Van Valkenburgh) and Sara (Lydia Cornell). Jackie and Sara left at the end of season 5. Jm J. Bullock played dunderhead Monroe Ficus. Deena Freeman recurred in season 2 as cousin April Rush.
