Do you think the late, convivial game show host would be practicing social distancing (like they do on Jeopardy) and would the actor/raconteur/game show host wear a mask on stage?
Somehow, I think that mask requirement would really irk the lip-locking Mr. Dawson.

Apart from the pandemic, he'd never get away with all that smooching in today's environment.

When Richard Dawson returned to hosting Family Feud in 1994, he didn't kiss the female contestants because he promised his young daughter that he would only kiss her mommy.

RD had very strong opinions about life, politics and philosophies. The network would moved quickly to banish him from the show. I don't think he would have survived the Twitter era.

I remember some comedian back then quipping that game show host Richard Dawson might be spreading herpes to hundreds of American women on “Family Feud.”
To see Richard Dawson kissing older women, young women and even teenage girls on that show was absolutely cringeworthy. Yet, at the time, most tv viewers liked to see Richard Dawson smooching with all of those women. So, go figure.
However, there were some female contestants, including several celebrity contestants, who would turn their heads, so that the overly-friendly Mr, Dawson could only plant a kiss on their cheeks.

I assume contestants are vaccinated and tested.

Who cares? Family Feud's nothing but an embarrassing and shameful smut fest now and Steve Harvey isn't funny! :angryfire It's absolutely disgusting!
