Last week’s episode (#40) did not feature a preview for the next episode, and no new episode has been released today.

I hope it’s not over. I’ve looked forward to this podcast every Wednesday for the past nine months. I even prefer it to the Netflix series. Hopefully it’s just on a break and will return with new episodes next year.

Seems like I heard actual radio commercials for it within the last month, so it seems like it would be back if they made that investment in it.

To be fair, many people on this board are too old to understand what a podcast is.

They said a few times it was the end of season one. I am sure it will be back.

I do enjoy the podcast...saved it for Saturdays when I mowed the lawn, along with Robin's pod. Hoping some of them can get solved as a result -- the lady/customers killed at the bank and the professor killed in his office in Canada were two of the more intriguing.

I didn’t hear anything within the podcast itself about it being the end of season one. Did they say this on social media? I listen on Spotify.

I thought I had heard it mentioned on the pod itself...but here it is mentioned on their IG account--

Thank you! I am a rare Millennial who doesn’t use social media, so it didn’t occur to me to check their Instagram. Glad it is coming back.

Uhhh…how old exactly do you think we are? I don’t think the majority of us are sitting on the front porch of our retirement home yelling at the young whipper-snappers riding by on their bikes.

I'm betting that most of us on here are Gen X or Millennials.

I presume most of you are Boomers, age 55+. That’s the impression I’ve gathered from some attitudes and beliefs/opinions on here.

Yeah...not even close. But it's interesting that you apparently assume people you disagree with must be a bunch of golden oldies.

Lol, yes. I could say we found the Millennial, but I don't want to be guilty of the same thing he is doing.

Oh in his case it's glaring. He's one of those annoying, entitled Millennials born in the 90's I'll bet. Wonder how much he's blaming the "boomers" for his inability to move out of his Mom and Dad's?

Struck quite a nerve with the old timers!

You should be nicer to us…after all, we’re the ones who will be looking after you when you’re in a nursing home. And we have long memories.

And speaking of embarrassing... I'm 41 years old....can anyone tell me if that makes me a "millennial", "Gen Xer", "Boomer", or what have you? About the only thing I know for sure is that I'm definitely no longer a "teenybopper".

As to the UM podcast, I love it! Though admittedly, I prefer the true crime episodes to the paranormal type ones. That said however, I do enjoy some of UM's paranormal material, both on the show and the podcast. I also enjoyed the Netflix episodes...I just had to go into it knowing that it wasn't the same as the good old days with Robert Stack. Hell, I even liked the Farina years, lol. While nothing will ever beat the golden era of Robert Stack IMO, I guess I'm a pretty die hard fan of UM in all of it's forms.

Speaking of podcasts, Ashley Flowers recently dropped an awesome episode about the Patsy Wright murder on her Crime Junkie fan site! If you all are fans like me, I'd highly recommend it. While I can always depend on Robin Warder to cover all my favorite UM classics on TTWC, it was nice to see someone else take a crack at it.

Not even close, sir. I'm 44. Maybe you shouldn't always assume things or cop an attitude because people don't think you're as clever as you think you are. You don't have to agree with us but you can at least be respectful.

If we're all on your ignore list, then why do you keep responding to us?

I can't speak for everyone here, but for me, your trolling only demonstrates that you truly don't understand the concept of a message board, where folk share their opinions and disagree respectfully. I know you think you're clever, but you're just embarrassing yourself. I really feel sorry for you.

As for the podcast, I can't wait for it to come back because I've really enjoyed it since it started.

Again with the replies. I guess they can’t see my message where it says they’re on my ignore list? I’m the only one posting, so they’re clearly replying to me even though I can’t see their posts. I just see a message saying that user is on my ignore list.

Enough of the pleasantries. This thread is over and has run its course. Let's move on to other topics.

For the record, when you add somebody to your ignore list you can't see their posts while logged in. It completely hides them from your view.
