Now that we've discussed expensive episodes, let's talk about cheap episodes. Episodes where the girls don't leave the cafeteria/store/store (bottle episodes), episodes where the production feels cheap with flimsy sets, or where they substitute royalty-free music for music they'd actually have to pay for.

Brian and Sylvia. That TV studio looks like what you would see in a high school play in Kansas City, Kansas.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Yeah, that set was chintzy.

Brian and Sylvia is the least-liked episode of all time (https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?series=tt0078610&view=simple&sort=user_rating,asc), according to IMDb.

In "Take My Finals, please" the girls were in their room for the entire episode :lol::lol:

It's true: an absolute bottle episode. Yet I feel like that episode worked. I believe it's the highest-rated episode on IMDb.

A bottled bottle episode :lol::lol:

It's my favorite, there are several lines I really love

"AU, gimme back my watch"

"I'm working at half wattage now"

After all, lowest production values doesn't equal lowest quality.

I don't hate it but I don't like when a guest star takes time away from our Facts girls :lol::lol:

:lol: I like it when the guest star is a good fit. :wave:

I think I would agree that Take My Finals, Please! may have the lowest production values. They only had to light one set, and there were no guest stars. However, there was all that snack food and the pizza that the girls ate which had to be purchased! lol

"C'mahn, it's got everything on it!"

:lol:

Yeah, even with the pizza and snack food, a "bottle episode" is going to be way cheaper than an episode where they actually leave the room. aside from the pizza and snacks, let's see... there was a clock and a hat.

Jermaine was fine, but he was no pizza! Those girls gobbled down that pizza as if they hadn't eaten in days! Jo actually grabbed a napkin first, but everyone else devoured their pizza in seconds.

FFI, as you can see from the 1983 one-hour Sesame Street television special "Don't Eat the Pictures", your idea and Retro's graphic actually aren't far-fetched at all!

Yeah, but I'll bet the Metropolitan Museum of Art insisted on more monies than any pizza would have!

Well, it is much more famous and does require a lot of upkeep! :lol:

Not to mention its own staff who likely individually require more monies than any pepperonis or cheeses would! :lol:

Remember the episode in which Jo 'got the beer' but never said WHERE she got it?

Do you think she may have kept the source quiet so they wouldn't have to credit or compensate said beer?

OK, I'm silly here but I had a rough day yesterday!
