Columbo is Leaving MeTV after November 21

https://www.metv.com/shows/columbo

Unfortunately, Columbo will no longer be available on MeTV after Sunday, November 21, 2021. MeTV wanted to continue to air Columbo, but the studio that owns the rights chose to end our agreement. That was their decision, not ours.

Monk will continue to be on the case and solve mysteries Sunday nights for two full hours beginning at 8PM | 7C on MeTV.

The Andy Griffith Show (6PM / 5C) and M*A*S*H (7PM / 6C) will both now air on Sunday nights, and will both continue on MeTV weeknights as well.

I reckon it'll be moving to Cozi TV with the 1989 series.

I read the official story, but I'm not buying it.

I love Columbo, but let's face it. It's an old show that is not exactly in high demand.

I think the real story is for Me TV to experiment with expanding time for newer shows.

Not a big loss, but do we really need more M*A*S*H and Andy Griffith? Good grief.

Mom is very upset at this news because she had watched Columbo from the time we discovered METV to now and METV did a wrong move by doing this. Why couldn't METV replace Columbo with Dragnet or another crime drama? But at least Monk is still airing on METV on Sundays. I think METV needs to work on improving their Sunday lineup and add more good shows
