Time for me to come out about myself. I am actually Asexual and Aromantic, meaning I'm not interested romantically or sexually to ANYBODY. A for Asexual and Aromantic really needs to be added to the LGBTQT List.

I mean, how is being asexual different (legally) from a heterosexual person who simply cannot find a partner? What rights do asexuals have to fight for that are different from being a hetero single person? Babalu 11-14-2021, 08:50 AM I don't see how it should be added to the LGBT list as a protected class. GentlemanJim 11-14-2021, 11:13 AM I mean, how is being asexual different (legally) from a heterosexual person who simply cannot find a partner? I think that is a good question, the same thought occurred to me. But what about women who either physically or emotionally cannot accommodate a man, yet is unattracted to women? I'm trying to maintain a family-friendly decorum with the words "physically or emotionally incapable"...feel free to assume a literal interpretation. People like that do exist, and probably does qualify as a "disability". |
