For any person who used to watch Saturday morning cartoons, sit and make yourself comfy while I tell you a tale. One Saturday morning in 1997, I was 10 years old. I sit down with a Pepsi and turn on my television. First, I will tell you the bad news.=( I turn on ABC and they aired loads of crappy teen girl shows that really I cannot explain because I have so many choice words for them! Well, I checked CBS and all there was, was crappy shows that no one cares for. It was not even football season yet! As I flip through my T.V. set, I come across a channel I forgot all about. It was UPN. They always air great shows. Even prime time is not all that bad. Anyway, I wait for the end of a commercial break and I heard theme music that really kicked balls! I saw a guy wearing a Cubby uniform who hit a ball. And then, I was incredibly thrilled to see that The Hogan Family was back on the air for two years.(1996 to 1998) I was sooooooo happy that I woke up at 9:59 to see Valerie and Sandy, and Company. Best of all it was on for a full hour on UPN in Chicago. They showed the original theme credits, unlike PAX. Most of my Hogan Family memories came from UPN. Only because I was too young to remember the NBC broadcasts. I remember when Mark and Willie went to a muesum and somehow stumbled across a naked pic of Sandy! My sister also came over to watch this too. We had breakfast at the same time and even better yet, UPN Chicago aired on Sundays, sometime around 3 P.M.! All the fun and games ended when I got a local T.V. guide=( THey now decided to air educational shows and boring news shows. But, because of my thrills with THF on UPN, I did not throw a fit.LOL The same thrill happened to me when I watched it on PAX back when I was in 6th. grade. But, they only aired it until Feb. of 1999. Wow! What memories! And to conclude this all, I am more than sure that all this teen crap will end soon. Just like the 60s and other decades. I think that this time, THF hopefully, and more than likely will be on for a long time. I hope it is a regular. By the way, since it is an NBC show, NBC needs to air re-runs of sitcoms. The only stations I know of that air re-runs are WGN and ABC. NBC might just benefit a lot from re-airing re-runs of THF.

OK you need to learn about network affiliation and syndication before you go talking. Some of these post you post are just so irritating because of the ignorance you have of the television bussiness. I will be nice and explain it to you. You have the netowork like ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox these are the major 4, then there are the ones like The WB and UPN and PAX. You local channels like in my area for example WTNH Channel 8 is ABC. WTNH pays ABC a certain ammount for a contract to broadcast ABC in the Hartford/New Haven DMA. WTNH is commited to airing all of ABC shows like The View at 11 and the soaps from 12:30-4 and primetime shows and the news shows. The rest of the time WTNH can air programs that are syndiacated, they pay a certain ammount for this show and air it when they want. The show can request to be put on or around a certain time. Shows like Oprah, Sally, Ricki Lake, Jerry Springer, and other talk shows are syndicated. Then there are syndicated sitcoms like The Nanny and 3rd Rock from the Sun, Friends, Seinfeld, etc. So you saying that UPN aired The Hogan Family is wrong. Your UPN affiliate aired The Hogan Family. So do your research before you start talking
