The Winslows were more family to Steve than his own folks.

Certainly doesn't paint them in a good light, the things Steve said his parents did/said regarding his presence.

It could be that re his parents: to know him is to loathe him.

I do remember him saying in an episode within the first season that he once found his parents in another city living under an assumed name as if they had been placed into the witness protection program. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

But it seems like the whole Urkel family (except OGD) were the same kind.
So I don't see what they had experted Steve to be like.
