Well I was driving my car last night aroun 11 just around town and got thinking about what would happen if something tragic would happen to me? (I always think the worst when I'm driving) Well which case do you think would be worse. If you picked a hitchhiker and he pointed a gun to your head and commanded you to keep driving or he'll pull the trigger. You've heard about a killing spree in your town and think that this is the killer.

-OR-

If you were driving, and you got about 15 miles out of town when all of a sudden your car spins out of control and you far over the edge into a huge ditch. You can't see the ditch from the highway and your car is upside down while your stuck inside without a phone or anything and there is no way you fcan get out. You're stuck to your seat and the car woun't budge even if you shook it.

Think about it. ;)

The ditch. At least you have a CHANCE of living. I could come up with a few ideas to get out.

But the hitchhiker one.... he would pull the trigger or end up killing you anyways.

Ummm well... I would say the ditch, but then what if you COULDN'T get out? Then you'd eventually die, and you'd have to suffer. But if the guy pulled the trigger, at least you'd die a lot faster, lol. But I'm freaked out by guns and I'd never want to be in that kind of situation so I think I'll take the ditch. I mean, there is a chance of someone coming to rescue you, right?

I'm not dumb enuf to pick a hitchhiker up. If I did...well...um...I'd pull over and try and hurt him. If not, if I was in the ditch I would prolly die a slow and painful death. I would rather it be short and quick.

Soooooo, the ditch would be worst.

Both would be terrible situations but being claustrophobic I would have to pick the second one. The thought of being trapped like that just terrifies me!

Chris, this is really something I need to consider since I'm getting my liscence in five days. Now I'm going to be petrified driving around...blah:p

I'm going to plead the fifth because neither one of those situations seems to great.

I'm the same way too! I can't stand being trapped in something in which you can't get out of it. I would probably scream as loud as I could for help. The hitchhiking one would probably be the most dangerous for me because when I get real nervous I tend to freak out and when I do that it could cause me to loose control of the car and kill both the killer and me! But if I had the choice . . . I would choose the ditch.

I'd rather not think about either one.

No I swear it's not my fault! I was up at inspiration point and put my car in Park, but it wouldn't stay when I let go of the break. I was scared as hell! My car was possesed! Well, I just put it in rear and got out of there before I fell down and died!

Speaking of cars, I think the worst situation you could be in is driving your car into a lake and sinking. Don't ever get yourself in that situation.

OMG you have a possesed car Chris!!!! OMG you wanna hear another freaky thing? OK well my parents had this book show to go to in Fresno lol and so we were driving home at like 1 in the morning on the freeway... and there was this car coming straight at us in the same lane as us in the wrong direction!!!! And my dad switched lanes really fast and he just kept right on going. It was FREAKY but not as freaky as yours for me cuz I wasn't the one driving.

I think that the car spinning out of control would be worse, because you would be in more danger of dying if you hit the ditch on impact. Especially if you had no phone to call for help. Although, neither situation sounds any good, either.:(

I think I'm going to have to go with the hitchhiker one, because well, first off, I would never pick up a hitchhiker! :D

But in the interest of being sporting, OK, let's saying instead that maybe it's a carjacker. Contrary to what some of you believe, you DO have a chance of getting out of this sort of situation alive. (If you don't think you could I strongly suggest you consider enrolling in a self-defense course someday). Most carjackers want the car, not you, so if you got the chance you could most likely just open the door and jump out, chances are good the carjacker wouldn't kill you. But then in Chris' situation there's a good chance the hitchhiker is on an insane killing spree...so with that you could never tell or predict how they might behave.

But I still think that you would probably be more likely to die in the ditch, never discovered, a long and painful death, unless of course some friends or loved ones knew where you were going and went looking for you around where you were driving.

Who knows.....neither situation would be good! (duh) ;)
