Triple Fried Egg Chili Chutney Sandwich

The trick is to eat it before the bread dissolves.

Is a gyro a sandwich? If so, I am voting for one. No onions, please, and sauce on the side.

If I were stranded on a desert island my survival sandwich would be a roast beef sandwich and that's all I eat in sandwiches but sometimes after Thanksgiving I love turkey sandwiches and I usually eat them with potato chips and cheese on the side but roast beef I like a bit of au jus with it too

Turkey Club at the Carnegie Deli

Unfortunately the owner decided to close the Carnegie Deli even though she was reportedly offered $15 million for it. :(

She turned down 15 mil for one sandwich? That's crazy!

Recently I found a Veggie Reuben at the Veggie Grille here in Santa Monica, it's great and tastes just like the "real Reuben"....as for healthy, living on perpetual sandwiches is not the healthiest way to go and I've cut out breads in my life about 10 yrs ago, so go gluten free as much as possible. But about every 6 months or so a Carl's Jr Angus with the works....

Mom raised us on egg sandwich sandwich with tomato, mayo and lettuce, so so good.

Always sucks when your favorite place closes, and even worse when the reasoning is so senseless. No idea why someone would turn down $15 million in favor of shutting down a place in exchange for NO money.

Not sandwich-related, but I remember when my local bookstore closed. The company who bought it was a liquidator, and even though there were bids to save the store, they opted to close the store over taking any amount of money. During the final month, they jammed all the books together so you couldn't even find anything, losing thousands of sales because they didn't even know how to have a liquidation sale properly. It was like trying to buy books and DVDs from orcs.

For a "regular" deli sandwich I usually go for Honey Turkey, Yellow American Cheese, Lettuce, and Mayo on a Roll.

If I want something that takes a little more time I make a grilled steak on ciabatta roll.

I make a garlic aioli with minced garlic cloves, lemon, little salt and pepper, mayo, virgin olive oil. Sometimes I use spicy (chipotle) mayo. I grill the steak with Weber steak seasoning.

I use a little virgin olive oil and garlic on the ciabatta roll and put in the toaster oven for a few mins. Then I slice the steak up in thin slices and put everything together.

Sometimes I add provolone cheese to it. I don't like onions, but if you do then you can add it to yours.

I LOVE provolone cheese and that sounds like a sandwich my mom would enjoy but without the spicy stuff. My mom also loves Reuben sandwiches too and always enjoys them for Friday night snacks

For years my favorite sandwich was the Subway Club, with a double order of bacon added. Then they decided to replace the roast beef in their club with some other meat, and I don't even go to Subway anymore, as "payback".

The Beef Brisket at Arby's is good, when you can get them to build it the way it looks on the menu, the grilled cheese steak at Penn Station is good, and the Gargantuan at Jimmie Johns is dependably good.

Used to be a Katz's Deli in Atlanta that had a Pastrami and chopped liver on toast that was 2 die 4, but haven't been there in years

Yanno? A grilled cheese made with extra sharp white cheddar on sourdough bread, browned to perfection, is pretty hard to beat. Especially with big gooey, stringy blobs of cheese running down your chin.

If you're in the mood for some unique and awesome sandwiches try a sandwich shop called Ike's Love And Sandwiches and they have sandwiches that are named for celebrities and sitcoms like the Kobe Bryant and the Matt Damon and Ike's signature sandwich the Matt Cain. And like Subway Ike's lets you choose the type of bread you like for your sandwich as well. It's a new chain that's so far been seen in California but Ike's may expand to other states soon. So give Ike's a try and see what a good sandwich tastes like

Arby's Smokehouse Brisket is pretty good when the brisket is juicy and tender. Sometimes it is a little dry.

Mr. Hero's Romanburger is good. I liked their Hot Buttered Steak years ago when they used real cheese, real butter and real everything else. It does not seem to be as good now. (Mr. Hero has locations in NE Ohio)
