In this video, I take a look at why The Addams Family was called “television’s answer to whatever you don’t like about the 20th century” and think about what that means in the 1960s vs. 1990s.

I like the tv series best... I think I could totally get along with that family. They were different but still were good-hearted. The movies portrayed them as almost criminals, burying a live cat, damaging property, etc... I can't see the 60s' TV family doing that.
