I have heard his cover of " I'm Walking". It's OK. I also saw the '85 concert the two artists did together years ago. I read Rick's demise hit Fats hard. What I didn't know was that Ozzie and Rick made sure Fats got paid his royalties , which was rare back then. A fan mentioned it on FB. I really respect them for that. Fats mentioned it in the concert footage as well. On a YT video where a British guy reviews Rick's influence , Tracy posts that the show received hate mail due to fact her dad was doing covers of R&B artists. In addition, the censors were giving Ozzie hell, but he stood up to them.

There are many Rick songs on the Time Life O&H set recently issued, and this is one of them.

I too am impressed Ozzie paid the royalties. Ozzie the businessman.
