View Full Version : The Facts of Life mention on The Nanny RetroGuy2000 10-28-2021, 03:03 AM .. 2XqZUpfQ3KA '80sSitcoms 10-28-2021, 10:40 AM Oh! I was like, "Really? I don't remember that", but yes, as soon as I saw the still frame above, I knew right away which one it was. In a way it's cool, but in a way it's a letdown because no one ever got stuck in a freezer in Peekskill. RetroGuy2000 10-28-2021, 10:55 AM Oh! I was like, "Really? In a way it's cool, but in a way it's a letdown because no one ever got stuck in a freezer in Peekskill. Oh, yeah. The still frame gives away the episode: it's that one! Yeah, Fran got many of the details wrong. It wasn't a freezer; it was a closet. And it wasn't Blair, Tootie, and Natalie; it was Ross, Phoebe, and Susan. ;) valentina warner 10-28-2021, 06:29 PM I used to love watching the NANNY: FRAN was so hilarious as the crazy extravagant nanny, and she and the upper class father of 3 single gentleman made a great couple! (he was handsome too!) I also liked, how the English butler ended up with the stock up blonde woman, whose love interest used to be the main character father of 3! (cannot remember his name) By the way: was FRAN not from the Bronx by any chance? Only about two miles from the Bronx, but a very different neighborhood. Yes, The Nanny was hilarious. I've been watching some episodes recently. CC (the stuck up woman) and Niles (the butler) did eventually hook up, after their mutual loathing gave way to passion. valentina warner 10-28-2021, 07:02 PM Nah, Fran was from Flushing, in Queens. (this i what soap operas are made of lol!) :trio:trio:trio:trio:trio:trio:trio:trio:trio PS: i know this has nothing to do with it, but i feel/hope that in COBRA KAI (still totally hooked!) Johnny Lawrence and Daniel Larusso end up besties, instead of the rivals/enemies they are right now lol! :meangya::meangya::meangya::meangya: Anyone on this site at all watching COBRA KAI, by any chance? Of course, I don't know the first thing about parts of London (I visited it in 2001), so wouldn't expect a British gal to know Queens from the Bronx, or <insert jewish dessert here> from <insert second jewish dessert here>!
