When Goodtimes was launched in '74, the show introduction in TV print media such as TVGuide was that the show is spinoff of Maude. I wonder if show producer ever thought of bring in Maude on Goodtimes as guest star since GT was promoted as spinoff of Maude.

The GT writers could have wrote an episode where Maude is in Chigao visiting relatives, and then she decide to drop in on Evans family to see how they are doing. The interaction between Maude and JJ, Wilona or Bookman probably would have been hilarious :D

That would have been awesome!! I also wish the Bunkers and Evans could have, somehow, met. I could see James and Archie having it out... and I could see Michael standing up to Archie

If you think about it, Archie meeting James or Micheal would have not been too far fetched since the co-creater of Goodtimes Mike Evans himself was on few episodes of All In The Family. So there was a connection there.
