Way before becoming a teen hearthrob a fact few people don't realize about Elijah Wood was that he gained fame as a commercial star and made his commercial debut in a commercial for Wavy Lays. The commercial first aired in 1994 as a Super Bowl commercial and featured Elijah trying to give up his seat for Wavy Lays. And he also appeared in the 1994 Super Bowl Halftime Show promoting this commercial. The second Wavy Lays commercial featured Elijah at summer camp sitting around a campfire sharing a bag of Wavy Lays with his friends when a mean guy played by the late Jack Palance scares them. It's hard to believe that Elijah Wood hasn't been seen much lately but he had gained fame in the movie Flipper and provided the voice of Mumble in Happy Feet
