In the 90's there was a time when bands from Europe made their debuts creating a new style of pop called Europop. And if you remember Europop you might remember Spice Girls. 1997 was a banner year for Spice Girls as their most successful album Spiceworld became a bonafide bestseller and they made their movie debut in their first lone movie also titled Spiceworld. But luck was really on their side when Pepsi asked Spice Girls to be in a commercial. The commercial for Pepsi was one of the biggest and expensive commercials to do and featured Spice Girls singing Move Over which also became a single. Though it seemed like a music video for Spice Girls the commercial was well done and is also featured on the Spice Girls concert video Live In Istanbul. There was also a second Pepsi commercial with Spice Girls singing another song called Step To Me that was seen in the UK but had NO American release
