In my Stories, Dave Winston saved his Enemy, George who was drowning in a pool as he couldn't swim. George constantly beat on him but wasn't near as aggressive as Rob was. Rob was the stronger and more aggressive than the two. Dave was walking near a pool one day and realized George was drowning. Dave knew George couldn't swim and Dave nastily thought,"Let him drown. If he drowns, I'll be free of him," and begun to walk away and begun to intentionally let George die in the pool. His conscience soon screamed at him that he'd be a Murderer if he let George die in the pool and couldn't just let him die in that pool. Dave reluctantly got in and got George out and gave him CPR and called an ambulance for him.

Would you save your enemy in a life threatening situation like that? I wrote Dave to be compassionate but with some completely selfish moments like when he started to let George drown in the pool, but his compassionate conscience took over and overode his selfish thoughts and he helped George out. He even wished that Rob had drowned in that pool but soon felt guilty for even thinking that.

I wonder what you guys think on saving your enemy from dying when they are say drowning in a pool since they can't swim...

For me it would depend upon what made them my enemy.

If greed was the primary factor, then yes, I'd probably save them. But if it was the fruit of betrayal, I would likely "fail" to save them.

If it was strictly the product of physical abuse, I'd most likely save them, but would torment them beforehand, with a little guilt peddling, making sure they realized they were being very fortunate.

Now, if it was one of those idiots at work who always make sure that you end up being the one with the short end of the stick, the type that snitch you off just to make themselves look better, I might throw a little bon voyage party for them...

Hmm. What you said makes sense.

To answer your question on Dave's enemies, I revealed that George beat on Dave because Dave was a pushover who didn't fight back. Rob... Ooh Rob... Rob beat up Dave because he actually had a Gay crush on Dave:crazy:

About you saying you would guilt trip your Enemy who is in trouble and make him know how fortunate he is that you are even saving him, Dave didn't do that, but George was VERY thankful that Dave saved him from drowning and apologized for beating him up and even protected him from Rob!:D
