I was watching this episode on Sunday and I noticed something. I have seen it hundreds of times over the decades but something jumped out at me. In the scenes where Marsha is dreaming she is married to the dentist and he comes home and she greets him like Mrs Brady (her mother) greets her dad (Mr Brady). In the scene, Mike Brady comes home and Carol greets him with her typical kiss and asks him about his day. In the day dream, Dr Vogul comes through the door and instead of a kiss, they hug and Marsha asks about his day. I am guessing it would be too taboo for a guy in his late 20s kiss a teenage girl even in a fantasy where they are both older.
Just funny

Scene begins at 3:15

One thing, for sure, she was so focused on his profession, that even in her fantasy wedding vows she called herself 'Mrs. Marsha Dentist' instead of surname.

Good thing Carol didn't do that, because somehow 'The Architect Bunch' just wouldn't have had the same panache as the show's actual title.

and they used Bobbie and Cindy as her children instead of other kids. Her conversation with her husband when he came home was dental-related as well.

They spend a lot of time not showing what her marriage would really be like. I wonder why?

The conversation was dental related because when Mike came home he was complaining about the day at the office architect related stuff. It was a mirror image except for the kiss.

I liked the episode - lots of funny little quirks, especially when Marsha thinks the parents are OK with their relationship !

Other sitcoms have done it as well and it usually works well also
