Absolutely not! Joanie was one of the best parts of the show, especially when her role was increased.

Joanie's role was greatly expanded when Ron Howard and Donny Most left the show. Her growing romance with Chachi was the forefront of numerous episodes and the short-lived spinoff Joanie Loves Chachi.

Two memorable Joanie and Chachi episodes stand out. The episode where they perform on a folk music TV show and Fonzie was upset about the loss of rock and roll and the wedding episode where Howard breaks the fourth wall and makes a toast to Happy Days.
