Do you think Redd Foxx was high on some of episodes on Sanford and Son?

Supposedly both actors used cocaine during the run of the show.

Redd Foxx also did not do table reads or participate in the practices of the show and would show up on Fridays when the episode was taped and did his thing, and there was no problem with that from the directors or anyone else. Foxx would get the script, probably studied it at home a little bit to get the outline and did the show on Friday.
