The CBS sitcom about a newly divorced dad faced with finding a kidney donor, and the rough-around-the-edges woman from his past who volunteers her own, was based on Pennette's life. B Positive returned for Season 2 on Thursday night without Pennette's involvement.

I really enjoyed the first season but I haven't seen anything good about the upcoming season.

I really enjoyed the first season but I haven't seen anything good about the upcoming season.I liked the first season and also the season 2 premiere that aired Thursday. I especially like that the groovy theme song was kept. Something had to be changed since the kidney transplant was the focus of season 1, but now that is taken care of. I saw you didn't like the recast of Drew's girlfriend, which shouldn't have happened but he belongs with Gina anyway.

There is a HUGE inaccuracy in the first episode of Season 2.

RIGHT after the transplant the doctor just sends them off & tells them he'll see them again in 6 MONTHS!! :lol:

The TRUTH is they test your blood 2 to 3 times a WEEK for about the first month & then every 1 to 2 months for the first 6 months. You also visit your transplant team SEVERAL times during the first 1 to 2 months. Many hospitals also do kidney biopsies in the first 6 months to a year to make sure there is no rejection.

Chances of rejection are HIGHEST during the 1st year that's why you must be very vigilant the first year which is just the OPPOSITE of what this show does!

This show does it DRASTICALLY wrong! I'm sure they did that because they don't want regular blood tests to interfere with their storyline.

I was hoping for a closing caption at the end of the season finale;

"Spoiler Alert; Drew and Gina lived."

Instead of just saying "The End," or "Tune in next season." or something like that. Even if it had just lasted one season, that would've made it interesting.

I'm still doubting the chances for a third season. The same goes for "United States of Al," although for entirely different reasons.
