Molly Ringwald's 12 year old daughter is just like 12 year old Molly Parker. Molly Parker would be proud

Molly Ringwald describes her 12 year old daughter as woke. On watching her John Hughes movies with her 12 year old daughter "She continued with a laugh, "My 12-year-old daughter Adele is the most woke individual that you've ever met, and I just don't know how I'm gonna go through that, you know, watching it with her and [her] saying, 'How could you do that? How could you be part of something that....' "

I really don't know why Molly Ringwald even talked about having troubles having her woke 12 year old daughter watching the John Hughes movies when on Molly's own Instagram account shows her watching "Pretty in Pink" with said daughter. https://www.instagram.com/p/CURJ5w0A-la/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

I guess because "Sixteen Candles" has more objectionable non-PC material in it? I remember her saying she was taken aback watching it in modern times at how non-PC it is.

I saw she said recently that Pretty in Pink has dated better than the other two JH films. She says she still loves all three, but not without reservations.

Yeah, I can think of some non-PC moments of SC and TBC off the top of my head, but I can't really think of any from PIP.
