This tv season hasn't been kind to new shows. The only original show to be a hit is L.A. Brea. The other show to be a hit is NCIS: Hawaii but it got panned by both critics and fans. Another one is FBI: International from Dick Wolf and he is bringing back the original Law and Order. The reboot of The Wonder Years is also a hit but it should have been set in 2000s. Yesterday I read L.A. Law is coming back but on ABC. It just feels as if nobody wants to get out of the 80s and 90s and don't want to watch anything original and fresh. (L.A. Brea is an example and so is Ordinary Joe.) Now I remebered Law and Order from watching the Jerry Orbach era which is the best and that is when it should have ended. If they are going bring it back, it should have a brand new cast with a couple of cast members from the original. The reboot of Hawaii 5-0 worked because it had a brand new cast focus on Hawaii today. I also enjoyed L.A. Law but I rather remembered the way it was and see a new fresh show about lawyers. This is why I'm more into streaming shows on Netflix and Disney+. Relying more on the past is like digging up a dead corpse. Do we really need any more Law and Orders, NCIes or CSIs? We no longer live in 80s.90s, or the 00s and I wish people would let shows SVU go. I'll go with streaming. The only thing I'll give a pass is the That 70s Show spin off That 90s show.
