Just re-watched the episode where Al proposes to Louisa.
This storyline came out of nowhere, really -- okay, it was out of necessity to set the stage for Joanie Loves Chachi -- and yet after Al proposes, we learn of the actual marriage in the tag sequence.
No episode devoted to the wedding. If this were one of today's shows, this storyline would have played out over several episodes, culminating in a big wedding finale.
Interestingly, this episode didn't set up Joanie Loves Chachi -- I wonder if that was done so that in case the show didn't take off after the spring tryout, they could have simply glossed over it when season 10 premiered.
A decent episode, with only one scene involving Fonzie. I know this was an Al-centric episode, but it's weird that Fonz only makes a mid-episode appearance and that's it.
