What's New: Walker, Texas Ranger, and Cheyenne

What's Leaving: Numbers, Hill Street Blues, Lancer, CSI Cyber, The Pretender, The Rookies, and The Green Hornet

I cannot believe they took one of the most overly played shows in history from GetTV and is airing it here. There is like 9 hours of Walker everyday if you have GetTV and H&I. Talk about a snoozefest. I'm surprised they axed Star Trek TOS from primetime into the wee hours of the overnight. It was a mainstay on H&I. Untouchable Sundays is now on it's last legs with only 4 hours now. I know they focus now on the 90s and 2000s but I can't help but feel they should have a better balance of the old and the new. This channel will soon be all modern action drama shows before you know it.

I thought H&I was already showing Cheyenne. Guess you know I haven't been watching in a long while. They've taken off so many of their classic shows I used to watch I now find them as interesting as your standard issue cable TV channel filled with shows I would never watch. What's with that Walker show anyway, I've never even watched a single episode but it's shown everywhere and in 20 hour blocks at a time. Is that show free to these TV channels? Why is it everywhere and in endless marathon style showings? This show reminds me of the way public domain shows were on TV everywhere at one time. Walker is the It's A Wonderful Life (when it used to be public domain) show of today.

I did appreciate their showing Green Hornet back a few years ago, I recorded those as you can't buy official DVDs of that show. (A shame.) And in the good old days when they started up I loved that they showed Combat and 12 O'Clock High as I hadn't seen them in a long long time. And even though I only watch my DVDs of the classic '50's and '60's shows (can't stand all the commercials on live TV) I was glad they do show (Superman and Batman) it was nice to know they showed them on TV so younger folks will know about the great shows of the past. Sorry to see them taking off Green Hornet now, though I kiss my DVD recordings now even more. Like all great classic TV channels that come along they start out fantastic (TV Land is prime example of this) they wind up after a couple years showing nothing but un-watchable new crap. Haven't watched TV Land for a real long time now. I hope ME TV keeps up their classic TV shows though if they go the way of TV Land I won't be shocked.

I don’t really watch H&I that often but I must admit it has taken a dip within the last year or two.

Surprised that Star Trek and Baywatch got downgraded for Walker - that will lose me at dinner time.

Nice to have an extra Wonder Woman. Wish that Batman would be the remastered version.

The original Star Trek is being moved from 8PM to midnight. That ends my watching of this channel. I watched Star Trek most weeknights. I called to complain but I am sure it will so no good.

Walker Texas Ranger. What a ****ing joke.
