Marvel Studios is developing a spin-off of Emmy-winning "WandaVision" for Disney+, sources confirm to Deadline.

The potential spin-off would be centered around Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness character which Hahn is set to reprise across the MCU — on streaming and in movies — under a larger deal she has made with the studio, sources said.

Schaeffer would serve as writer and executive producer on the Harkness spinnoff, which was first reported by Deadline’s sister pub Variety. Schaeffer is under a joint overall deal with Marvel and 20th Television.

I did hear about this news and apparently it's gonna be told from Agatha's point of view and it will be great to watch when it makes it's debut. I wonder if Vision will make an appearence in this new Wandavision spin-off too along with Wanda? I started watching Wandavision after I developed a crush on Vision and found the Wandavision show so cute and Vision has been my sweetheart ever since

Disney+ confirmed that it has given "Agatha: House of Harkness" the greenlight.

During the streamer’s Disney Plus Day event on Friday, Disney+ unveiled the official title for the "WandaVision" spin-off series which will see Kathryn Hahn reprise her role, for which she received an Emmy nomination.

Not exactly striking while the cauldron is hot, Disney+’s Agatha Harkness series might not premiere until a full three years after "WandaVision" made its January 2021 debut.

Ordered to series in November 2021 and previously known as "Agatha: House of Harkness", the newly rechristened "Agatha: Coven of Chaos" was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday night to be one of five Disney+ series that figure into the MCU’s Phase 5 slate.

Filming begins later this year, with an eye on a winter 2023/2024 premiere.

"SNL" alum Sasheer Zamata has confirmed to Mashable that she will be taking on the role of sorceress Jennifer Kale in Disney+’s forthcoming "Agatha: Coven of Chaos" series.

“I definitely did as much research as I could,” she said of preparing for the role, who was first introduced in 1972 via Marvel’s Man-Thing comic books. “But the way we formed this character is very different from what I think people expect.”

“[Shooting Coven of Chaos] was so magical and ethereal,” Zamata enthused. “It brought that out of everyone on set. There were crystals and candles everywhere. We saged and cleansed the stage all the time. It was the perfect environment for me.”
