(The Boston Red Sox won the AL Wild Card by beating the NY Yankees 6-2.)

(Ralph & Ed are in the Kramden kitchen.)

Ralph: "Boy, what a lousy game Norton. Those Yankees were pathetic."

(Ed blows his nose.)

Ed: "You can say that again Ralph-ie boy."

(The girls come home.)

Alice: "Hiya boys! I know that your Yankees lost."

Ralph: "Don't rub it in. You are both in danger of your life if you try."

Trixie (sarcastically): "The boys are certainly good losers."

Alice: "Just as good as I suspected."

Garrity (from upstairs, yells): "HEY KRAMDEN, YOUR YANKEES LOST TO BOSTON IN BOSTON. HOW HUMILIATING."

(Ralph goes to the window and sticks his head out.)

Ralph (yells): "GARRITY, YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT HUMILIATION. WHO IS IT IN THIS BULDING THAT GETS HUMILIATED THE MOST. WHO?"

All (yell): "RALPH KRAMDEN!"

(Ed laughs.)

Ralph (yells): "GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OUT!"

(The Nortons leave.)

(Jackie walks on stage. Crowd cheers.)

Jackie: "Thank you. The Miami Beach crowds are the BEST! GOOD NIGHT!"

(Crowd cheers.)
