Born in Berkeley, CA Mike Post is a TV Composer known for many TV Theme Songs
He's best known for composing music for the likes of the late Steven Bochco on such shows as Hill Street Blues, L.A. LAW, Hooperman, Doogie Howser, M.D. (co-created by Ally McBeal Creator David E. Kelley) NYPD Blue and many others, Dick Wolf on Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: CI, Law & Order Trial By Jury, The NEW Dragnet and Players with Ice-T, the late Paul Junger Witt & Tony Thomas on Blossom with Mayim Bialik of The Big Bang Theory, the late Bernie Brillstein & Brad Grey on Newsradio, Donald P. Bellisario on Magnum, P.I.(co-created by the late Glen A. Larson), Tales of the Gold Monkey & Quantum Leap and "CHiPs" Creator Rick Rosner on 240-Robert with John Bennett Perry (Father of Growing Pains & Friends Star Matthew Perry), Mark Harmon of St. Elsewhere & NCIS Fame and Veteran Actress Joanna Cassidy

and who could ever forget composing the jingle to Stephen J. Cannell Productions, you know? the man on the typewriter
and last, but certainly not least, he even composed the theme to our favorite supercop HUNTER
For the 1st 6 seasons, Fred Dryer & Stepfanie Kramer along with themes from Post and the late Pete Carpenter got ya PUMPED UP for the action
Mike Post has been active since the 60's and he continues to this day
Post remained friends with Cannell until his death in 2010
